Made it to day 8 in the 365 project! This is going to be a huge project, but well worth it, I think. Hopefully I can keep finding things the way I do and get inspired!
In the meantime, getting ready for Dark Ones this weekend. Jerome's costume should get finished by tomorrow. Just missing one of my cuffs and a couple pieces i can pick up at the hardware store. I luckily realized that I don't have to accessorize Jerome since I AM the accessory. And I have a complicated enough outfit. Finished a birthday gift tonight, and still have some character creation to work out.
Found out I will be at LaughingMoonCon in Phoenix (9/11)! *nerdsqueal* Also, the Con list has been updated and websites included.
IF YOU HAVEN'T ORDERED A COPY OF "BLOOD & HONOR" DO IT HERE AND DO IT NOW!
I'm sure John Wick will appreciate it and you will love the game. Promise.

Blizzard Contest Entry!
Not mine. You know me. Writing is one of those Arts that isn't really in my wheel house.
Jerome writes. Here is his entry for Blizzard's latest contest and you should check it out. It's awesome!

Another One Bites The Dust
WHOOHOO!!!!!!
That's right. An insane 14 hours later, the cake is done! Early too! There was a two hour span where I couldn't do anything because the girls had woken up, but there's no helping that. The images will go up, hopefully, this afternoon. I still have yet to sleep, but that will have to wait. Trying to clean after the disaster I left in my kitchen. I would love to go treat myself to a delightful cup of coffee and work on Supernatural. Unfortunately, I used my extra money on material for more new projects. I'm going to attempt to ban myself from the fabric stores- with the exception of goods needed to finish a project.
There were just too many things that could be put to good use.

CAKE
is sometimes tasty, but very.... complicated.
7ish hours in and still going. There's a lot of waiting in the cake making game. Hulu helps.... wish I had a gum paste dryer...

Absurdly Busy Times
Okay. This weekend will be crazy and I've brought it upon myself.
First off, after I eat my slices of rapidly cooling pizza, I have to start baking cakes. Yes, three cakes for one birthday cake. Anyone else love watching Duff and the Ace of Cakes crew? Now you're getting the idea. It's a hula/baseball party for a co-worker's kid. So.... making an island out of cake with palm trees and tiki heads out of gum paste and the ocean out of melted blue sugar. I have to create a pan big enough to hold it together as well. And add the tree to tree decorations i'm making. It's due tomorrow at 1pm.
After that, I have a Supernatural game to run. Some may die, some may live, some may go crazy or kill off already deceased friends. Who knows? I sure don't.
I'm also down to a week in the Dark Ones party costume projects. I have one done with a add on and a touch up. Think I got the facial jewelry issue solved.
All the while, I'll be updating the 365 project when photoshop and I are reunited again. My regular computer is down and out with a severe case of Fuckyoulauraitis.

Stark Raving Sane
Oh, how I do love the theatre. Watching "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" while working on jewelery making and the 365 project. If you don't know it, check it out. Preferably, read it. It's worth it.
In the interest of making cool things to wear, I have re-inserted metal through my nose. A slightly painful and annoying method of force used to make my jewelry look the way I want it to for the Dark Ones shindig. Have to get some more material cut for both outfits and try to finish all of the sewing Friday night. Let's see how that goes.
In thinking about costuming, I have come to the realization that I'll need to make another outfit for RinCon in October. If I end up doing some LARPing, I'll need the digs for it. So add that to the list of things to do...
Friday night will be awfully busy. Cakes to make and cover in fondant. Plus costumes to sew.... The cake is due Saturday for a kid's party. The costumes in a week and a half.... RinCon in about 2 months.... The Legendary Jessie Foster has an upcoming birthday... Trying to see about going to LaughingMoonCon in Phoenix in about a month... Jebus.

Wait. Doesn't that sound like....
Yes. Yes it does. And I LOVE that store.
I've had to set aside torridimagery.com for a bit due to a financial snag. I know you all know what that's like, so I don't have to elaborate. For the time being, however, I have decided to subject you all to my artistic and geeky ramblings on this forum. You know. In case you were afraid you would miss it.
True to form, the rambling will be up front and those snazzy side bars will direct you to the things I'm actually up to. The Supernatural rpg I'm currently running, for example. Complete with quotables.... Also, the awesome 365 Days project inspired directly by the fantastic Miss Alicia who has begun her own 365 Days, 365 Self-Portraits.
So get ready, get set and don't actually go anywhere. Seriously. Just stay with me on this adventure of insane artistry, rpg extravaganzas, science references, geek squeals, and -of course- boobs. I promise there will at least be one thing you enjoy about it. Even if it's just the boobs.
